London Has Fallen release date

London Has FallenAs announced in November last year, the producers decided that, due to good revenue they had with Olympus Has Fallen, it deserves to make a sequel which will be called London Has Fallen. The main characters will be the same Aaron Eckhart and Gerard Butler, and action, obviously, will be held in London. The newly revealed synopsis tells us that Americans and foreign dignitaries will gather in London to attend the funeral of the British Prime Minister and they are trapped in a new assassination plot and only Banning (Butler ), Asher (Eckhart) and an MI-6 agent can prevent it. The premiere is scheduled for November 2, 2015.

Focus Features has acquired distribution rights in the United States for London Has Fallen, movie whose screenplay will be written by the same responsible for Olympus Has Fallen, Creighton Rothenberger and Katrin Benedikt, along with Christian Gudegast. It’s not yet known name of the man who will take the the director’s chair, Antoine Fuqua, the one who was responsible for directing the previous film, announced that it will not be involved in this project. Instead, Morgan Freeman, Radha Mitchell and Angela Bassett will reprise their roles.

As I said, this sequel it’s set to be held in London, where the British Prime Minister died in some mysterious circumstances. His funeral is an event that no Western leader can be missing from, but what seems to be the most protected event in the world turns into a plot to assassinate the most powerful leaders of the world and start a terrifying vision of the future. The only hope that this plot can be prevented binds only on three people: the President of the United States, his formidable secret service head (Butler), and an English MI-6 agent who rightly trusts no one.
