‘Jurassic World 3’ in the Works, 2021 Release Date Set

Almost four months before Universal unleashes Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, directed by J.A. Bayona, the studio is making plans for a third installment of the rebooted dinosaur adventure movie series.
Jurassic World 3 will be penned by franchise newcomer Emily Carmichael along with Colin Trevorrow, director of the 2015 reboot and co-writer of Fallen Kingdom.

Lupita Nyong’o To Star In ‘Born A Crime’ Based On Trevor Noah’s Memoir

Nyong’o will play Noah’s mom, Patricia, who served as an important figure to her son in his formative years. She was shot in the head by his stepfather while returning from a church service in 2009, but survived.
Noah is producing the project through his Ark Angel Productions alongside Norman Aladjem, Derek Van Pelt and Sanaz Yamin of Mainstay Entertainment, and Nyong’o.

LA Confidential: Walton Goggins to Star in Reboot Pilot for CBS

Walton Goggins is headed to CBS. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the Justified star has joined the network’s LA Confidential reboot pilot.
Based on the novel by James Ellroy, the drama follows three homicide detectives, a reporter, and an actress whose lives “intersect while the detectives pursue a sadistic serial killer among the secrets and lies of glamorous and gritty 1950s Los Angeles.” In 1997, the book was adapted as a film starring Kevin Spacey, Russell Crowe, Guy Pearce, and Kim Basinger.

Amazon Boards Marjane Satrapi’s Marie Curie Biopic ‘Radioactive’ (EXCLUSIVE)

Amazon Studios has partnered with Studiocanal for Marjane Satrapi’s “Radioactive,” a biopic of two-time Nobel Prize winner Marie Curie that stars Rosamund Pike. As part of the deal, Amazon is co-financing with Studiocanal and has taken U.S. and some international rights outside of territories pre-sold by Studiocanal and outside of France, Germany, Australia/New Zealand and the U.K., where Studiocanal has direct distribution operations.

‘Star Wars: The Last Jedi’ Blu-Ray Will Feature 14 Deleted Scenes

Star Wars: The Last Jedi comes out on Blu-ray next month and it is going to be packed fuller than the Mos Eisley Cantina with extra features.
To start, the disk will feature 14 deleted scenes.
No clues were given about what the scenes may be, but director Rian Johnson said in previous interviews he cut a lot out of the film for time and pace.

Director Andy Muschietti is back to direct. Gary Dauberman will pen the script. Beverly was played by Sophia Lillis in the 2017 horror hit.

Duo Bert & Bertie are also attached to direct “Troupe Zero” for Amazon from a script by Lucy Alibar, with Todd Black producing. The duo has credits in film, animation, documentaries, video games, and commercials and is repped by Verve and Hirsch Wallerstein.
